2001

Kurukshetra Panorama & Science Centre, a satellite unit of National Council of Science Museums, was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on 6 March.

  • Inauguration of Taramandal Show.
  • Introduction of Mobile Science Exhibition Bus for science outreach activities.
  • Inauguration of Science Park.
2004

Inauguration of 3D Film Show.

2008

Chroma Key Studio opened for visitors.

2012

Inauguration of Indian Scientific & Technological Heritage Gallery.

2015

Opening of Museum Shop and Souvenir Corner on 1 June 2015.

2019

Inauguration of Mobile Science Exhibition on “Energy” on 5 September 2019.

2022

Addition of Herbal Park on 22 April 2022.

2023

Addition of Cactus Park on 5 June 2023.

2024

Addition of Butterfly Park on 6 March 2024.

2025
  • Unveiling of Pond Ecosystem in Science Park by Chief Guest Mrs. Delia Batish on 22 March 2025.
  • Opening of Cafeteria for visitors on 7 September 2025.
  • Inauguration of Knowledge on Sphere (KoS) facility as part of Silver Jubilee celebrations on 4 December 2025.
  • Inauguration of newly developed exhibit Energy Ball as part of Silver Jubilee celebrations on 4 December 2025.
2026
  • On the occasion of Silver Jubilee celebrations marking 25 years of Kurukshetra Panorama & Science Centre, the modern technology-based Fantasy Ride (Simulator) facility was inaugurated on 6 March 2026.
