The Kurukshetra Panorama & Science Centre, Kurukshetra, was inaugurated on 6th March 2001 by the then Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee.Kurukshetra Panorama & Science Centre, Kurukshetra, is a unit of National Council of Science Museums (NCSM). NCSM is funded and governed by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
- Popularisation of Science among the general public at large & students in particular.
- To inculcate Scientific Awareness & Scientific Temper.
- Supporting curriculum-based education at school & college level.
- To highlight the achievements in various fields of technology
- To promote education to achieve scientific literacy in the country.
- Various educational programmes for the benefit of students, teachers & society.
- Promoting science learning through hands-on activities.
- Making prototypes of students' ideas in the innovation space.
- Preserving the Science & Technology Heritage.
